DRIVING EXPERIENCES DIRECT are committed to ensure enjoyment of driving experiences, which are fun, exhilarating and safe, in a controlled environment. We want you to feel welcome and enjoy expert tuition from professional instructors in our meticulously maintained and fully road legal vehicles. We endeavor to let you enjoy your driving experiences and our terms and conditions have been carefully written to ensure that there are no misunderstandings which could detract from your enjoyment.  We recommend you take time to read the terms and conditions in full before purchasing one of our experiences.

YOUR COMMITMENT. Give yourself plenty of time for your booking, we recommend at least 12 weeks prior to the date you would like to do your experience. We book on a first come first serve basis and once our dates are full you may need to extend your voucher to the next season at a percentage cost. We only operate on selected weekday & weekends from March to November (NOT everyday). It is critical that your voucher validity date has not expired when you attend your day as you will not be allowed to take part in your experience.Once you have booked your date, we reserve your car, instructor and circuit time.  If you then choose to cancel, you will be in breach of contract and we reserve the right to retain all monies paid.  Please note, Cancellation Cover and or Waiver Indemnity cover can be purchased on line. All customers must allow plenty of time for their journey if they are late (arriving after their agreed arrival time stated on their confirmation) they will not be able to take part in their experience as there will be no time slot available. The driver on the day must bring their driving license (both parts), gift voucher and their confirmation E mail. A fee will be charged if forgotten. Directions to the venue are for assistance only and customers are asked to plan their journeys carefully and allow plenty of time, DRIVING EXPERIENCES DIRECT is not responsible for customers getting to the venue. 

ARRIVAL: Please arrive in good time for sign on.  We ask that you arrive at least 45 minutes before your scheduled start time so that you can receive relevant information before taking part in your event.  We cannot permit anyone to participate in an experience without attending/receiving a drivers briefing, this can be as a group or with your instructor behind the wheel.

INDEMNITY:  (All drivers must sign on arrival to participate in their event) In consideration of being permitted to utilize the driving course organized by DRIVING EXPERIENCES DIRECT, I agree to keep indemnified DRIVING EXPERIENCES DIRECT, their officials, servants, representatives or agents, the owners of the land and any other persons using the facility, from and against all actions, claims or damage to the property or myself or my passengers however caused. I also confirm to pay the first £2000 of any damage I cause due to reckless, careless or negligent driving. I confirm that I am not suffering from any illness or disability whether permanent or temporary or otherwise which is likely to affect my control of the vehicles being driven.  I confirm I hold a valid UK/International driving licence for a minimum of 6 months.

DRIVING EXPERIENCES DIRECT INDEMNITY WAIVER: On the day of the event you may opt to sign an insuranceindemnity waiver form & pay a fee. This will give you piece of mind as a Damage Waiver Insurance.  This means DRIVING EXPERIENCES DIRECT, should there be any damage what so ever to any of the vehicles you drive, will not expect you to pay the first £2000 of damage as previously stated on the signing in sheet for your experience subject to the instructors discretion. 

SPECTATORS - As many spectators as you wish are permitted, and may take part in the many Pay & Drive activities on the day. There will be Super Cars and other unusual vehicles turning up on the day. Dogs are not permitted..
CLOTHING - We recommend that you come prepared for the extremes of the weather. Please wear comfortable driving clothing. Narrow shoes for drivers, as pedals can be very close on some vehicles. On cold/wet days you will need warm waterproof clothing, gloves and hats, and sun protection on hot days. Wearers of contact lenses may experience some discomfort from dust on dry days. 

LUNCH/SNACKS - Catering facilities are available on site.

DRIVING ABILTIY - We ask that you can drive a vehicle with a manual gear box unless specifically purchasing an experience in an automatic vehicle. Please remember this is an EXPERIENCE and not a RACE! No driver will be under any pressure to drive past his or her comfort zone. Any driver causing nuisance or danger to other customers will be disqualified from that experience with no refund. No timing equipment is allowed.

VOUCHER DELIVERY - All vouchers are normally posted out by first class Royal Mail the same day or following morning, if ordered before 3pm. You can choose & pay for special next day delivery if required Mon - Fridays.  In all delivery cases DRIVING EXPERIENCES DIRECT cannot be held responsible for failure of delivery or loss. There is no dispatch or delivery on UK bank holidays or weekends.

REFUNDS - DRIVING EXPERIENCES DIRECT will refund un-booked experiences bought direct from DRIVING EXPERIENCES DIRECT within 7 days of purchase minus a 10% administration charge ( minimum charge of £25). After 7 days no refund will be available. An alternative named driver can be submitted after booking with an additional £25 administration charge, up to 30 days before the booked event. DRIVING EXPERIENCES DIRECT will not accept date changes if your event has already been booked (unless covered under separate cancellation cover). Refunds are always made to the person who purchased the experience, and if originally purchased by credit card, the refund will be credited to the same card. If the card has expired you will need to request a refund in writing, quoting details of a new credit card.  If you have a date specific or booked voucher then no refund or cancellation or other changes maybe made.Lost vouchers can be re-ordered after sufficent proof of purchase, at an admin fee of £15 was £25.

CHANGES - An alternative named driver can be submitted after date booking with an additional £25 administration charge up to 30 days before the booked event. We will not accept any changes less than 30 days before an event (unless covered under separate cancellation cover). If you have a date specific or booked voucher then no refund or cancellation or other changes maybe made. Lost vouchers can be re-ordered after sufficient proof of purchase, at an admin fee of £15.

CANCELLATION COVER: (Must be paid for separately) this can be requested online or by calling the DRIVING EXPERIENCES DIRECT help line.  Cover will allow the re-booking of the experience if the customer should cancel a booked activity session up to 7 days prior to an event as a direct consequence of one or more of the circumstances set out below:

·          Death within the immediate family.

·          Serious illness of participant or spouse.

Relevant documentation must be provided for the above in the event of cancellation once purchased this policy is non refundable and does not fall within the 7 day conditions.  This covers the participant taking part in the event and not the gift voucher this is only available on experiences up to the value of £350, unless special circumstances are agreed by the underwriters. You will not be able to change the booking if less than 7 days are remaining before the event but may send someone else in your place.

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE: Any problems or complaints on the day, must be brought to the attention of the event manager/organizer at the venue as soon as possible and every effort will be made to rectify the situation. Please note: it is difficult to put things right if you have already left the venue and refunds will not be issued after your event. For all other other matters please send a letter or E mail to the address on our contacts page for the attention of the Customer Services Manager and we aim to make contact within 30 days.

AVAILABILITY & LENGTHS OF EXPERIENCES: All experiences are offered subject to availability and weather conditions on the day. It may be necessary to book your day on certain Experiences well in advance PLEASE CALL for availability.

Please book your experience well in advance allowing at least 12 weeks. You must take your experience between the months of March & November and we only operate selected weekdays and weekends (not everyday). We are unable to make provisional reservations. You are advised not to make travel, hotel or other arrangements until your booking has been confirmed in writing by E mail. Should any alterations have to then take place due to reasons beyond our control we shall not be held liable for any expenses incurred.  Session lengths/laps are approximate and vary from venue to venue, they are given as an indication of the time you will spend at the venue. Unless stated otherwise, you will usually be taking turns with other people and there will be waiting time involved. We give team timed itineraries as a guide only and the running order of an event may change without notice and DRIVING EXPERIENCES DIRECT will not be liable. Venues may change from time to time due circumstances beyond our control and as much notice as possible will be given if this occurs.

Adverse Weather Conditions, Mechanical Breakdown & cancellation of your booked event.  From time to time some of our experiences may have to be cancelled or suspended due to adverse weather conditions, reasons beyond our control, or very occasionally mechanical breakdowns. Where ever possible, for example in the case of breakdown of the vehicle, every effort will then be made to contact you and or offer an alternative on the day or re-book the experience at the next available date and venue. Generally, weather forecasts are sufficiently unreliable to make any definitive decision the day prior to an event and as such, bad or unpromising forecasts the day before your event is NOT an acceptable reason for you to want to cancel your drive. Non attendance on a day that operates in spite of bad weather forecasts will see you loose your experience completely. If your driving is cut short because of bad weather, you will be able to return on another day to complete the balance of your experience. Refunds will not be given. DRIVING EXPERIENCES DIRECT  will not be responsible for any accommodation, travel or incidental expenses incurred by customers and every effort will be made on the day for your event to continue even if the time scale is over and above expected booked time or we will offer you an alternative. 

RESTRICTIONS: Certain experiences are subject to minimum or maximum requirements, e.g. health, weight or height (Generally 4' to 6' 6" can be accomodated). We will confirm with you at the time of booking if any restrictions apply to the participant. Once booked, you may be liable for charges if you have to cancel because the minimum requirements are not met. We have a no smoking policy whilst in or around the vehicles and inside any buildings.  Alcohol is strictly forbidden from all our events. Anyone who is considered to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be excluded from all activities and no refund or rebook will be allowed.  All clients participating in motoring activities must hold a valid UK/International driving Licence unless advised by our staff, or for example in the case of junior driving or hot laps driven by an instructor. If you have any medical condition or disability which may affect your ability to undertake the experience this must be disclosed before purchase by calling our office. If you are in any doubt then please consult your doctor. To ensure the validity of any insurance cover we may in some instances ask clients over a certain age to produce a medical certificate. If you wish to arrange your own additional cover please bring the policy document with you.

DEFINITIONS and GENERAL INFO (please read carefully)

The pictures used in all promotional material are for illustration only and may differ from the actual experience, particularly those that take place at more than one location. The machines, vehicles, crafts and settings at each venue may vary and are subject to availability and or change.
In many instances experience duration will be influenced by weather and the number of persons participating on the day and in consequence some waiting time may result. The pictures used and descriptions of experiences duration and availability on the web site are intended to be a guide only for clients and do not form part of any contract with them. Since the equipment used, the settings in which they take place, as well as the supplier/venue may vary from time to time and are subject to change without notice to us the supplier. DRIVING EXPERIENCES DIRECT reserves the right to make amendments and changes to their experiences without notice and will not be liable for doing so.  However, all reasonable steps are taken to ensure that the experiences provided fall within the general terms described in the brochure/description information file or web site.  Where this cannot be fulfilled alternative venues or experiences will be offered to the value of your gift voucher. All vehicles used on the day are subject to availability and or changes without notice and in the event of a vehicle not being available another vehicle maybe substituted of equivalent performance.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION -  The information provided by DRIVING EXPERIENCES DIRECT on each experience is correct at the time of print & web site. However, the content or format of experiences may change during the year. Details of each experience are available from our web site www.drivingexperiencesdirect.co.uk or our Customer Services Team Monday-Friday from 9.30-5.30 pm, all of our driving events are operated from March-November on selected weekdays and weekends, you must book your experience for these months and we operate a first come first served basis. The office is open all year round. You can start to book your experiences in from January onwards, however not all dates will be booking. You must take part in your experience within the months above and it must be booked and taken before the expiry date of the voucher. We plan arrangements for your experience many months in advance. Very occasionally changes may be made and we reserve the right to do so. This may involve having to reschedule the timing and/or location of an experience, possibly at short notice, owing to availability, booking numbers, safety, technical problems or other factors beyond our control. We cannot be held liable for any costs incurred in any of these circumstances. We will provide an experience, location or other alternative wherever possible. In the unlikely event that an alternative cannot or is not offered, a full refund minus 25% admin will be available at the discretion of DRIVING EXPERIENCES DIRECT. Similarly, we reserve the right to withdraw supply of a gift without notice due to unavailability or discontinuance of a product line, in this case an alternative will be given.

PRICES - Prices are correct at the time of going to press but the company reserves the right to increase/decrease prices at its discretion. However where such price increases are made clients will be notified before placing an order. Gift vouchers will only be issued after payment has been made in full to the company.

INSURANCE - With few exceptions, all our experiences involve some element of risk and danger. This is what creates the excitement and the thrill. Every customer is covered by our standard public liability insurance. You may wish to take out additional cover over and above that provided. Accordingly you are advised to consider insurance cover for personal accident, loss of limb and even death or indemnity insurance for damage caused to any vehicles on your event before embarking on your experience. DRIVING EXPERIENCES DIRECT is not responsible for any risks not specifically covered by its own insurance and on arrival at your venue for a experience you will be asked to sign a driver’s indemnity as covered in INDEMNITY above.

WITH DRAWAL of experiences, descriptions, and or locations - Gift vouchers can range in price from £20.00 and above and are valid for all the experiences shown in our literature and web-site. If an experience has been withdrawn the recipient will be advised and offered an alternative as near as possible to the original. If this should prove to be impossible you will be offered an alternative with assistance from the customer service team, subject to payment or refund of any difference in price. If alternatives have been offered and dates are available no refunds will be available.

DATA PROTECTION ACT 1998

All details supplied by clients or recipients of gifts remain confidential to the company. Under no circumstances will any information be supplied to third parties without our clients and or the recipient’s specific authorities in writing, except where there is an emergency involving the statutory authorities.

All the above terms and conditions apply as a condition of using any voucher, whether or not the voucher holder is the original purchaser.

DRIVING EXPERIENCES DIRECT liability for any claim of breach of obligation regarding any single voucher or experience shall not exceed the price of that experience. This excludes claims arising from personal injury or death due to proven negligence of anyone for whom we are responsible.

All illustrations, pictures and text used by DRIVING EXPERIENCES DIRECT are protected by copyright and must not be copied in whole or in part without our permission.

The above terms and conditions are to be interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and the statutory rights afforded there under and subject there to form the basis of the contract between the company and its corporate or individual client.
